Bomb at Fraunces Tavern Kills Four in NYC

Four people died and about 40 were injured when a dynamite bomb exploded at the Fraunces Tavern complex on Broad Street in Manhattan. The blast, linked by police to the Puerto Rican nationalist group FALN, followed a claim of responsibility and notes found near the scene.
