El Al employee shot dead near Rome department store
Vittorio Olivares, a 35 year old Italian Jew and El Al worker, was killed by Zaharia Abou Aleh, 23, who claimed ties to Black September. The attack occurred outside the Cim Department Store as the gunman fled, fired into the air, and was later arrested. Olivares died at a hospital after being shot twice in the stomach.

Arab terrorists nabbed at airport near Paris flight
Airport police in Beirut arrested three Arabs believed tied to Palestinian guerrilla groups as 22 pounds of dynamite were found in two men luggage while boarding an Air France flight to Paris.
