Transient Lies Near Death From Wounds in Quarrel
Walter H. Ruark a 56 year old transient shot in the back near a Big Springs tent camp is near death. William H. Blaker 50 another transient living there was arrested. Blaker says Ruark assaulted him with a pick axe handle after an argument over a woman. The gunshot lodged in Ruark's lung. The group had come to Dev el County from Loveland Colorado about a week ago.
