The Civil Aeronautics Authority announced a further inspection of Scottsbluff airport in Chicago with an inspector to visit within ten days. A plan to double the airport size by adding a 160 acre tract east of the present field could allow a 5700 foot runway with prevailing west-northwest winds, in addition to existing runways.

The Lodgepole Weed Eradication District is established by county commissioners and land owners to combat bindweed in Cheyenne county. Tony Simones 30, of Denver, was fatally injured when his light truck overturned on a highway near Lusk Wyoming last Wednesday. He died Saturday after being taken to a local hospital. He formerly lived in Sidney Wyoming and is survived by his parents wife two children and several siblings.

Grain Rate Changes Would Aid Farmers
