Sheriff Holds Six Prisoners Spooked by Blizzard
Sheriff W S Ramsey of Scotts Bluff county was stranded in Sidney by a spring blizzard overnight while transporting six prisoners to the pen and the reformatory. The inmates named were Jose Guevarra sentenced to one year for carrying concealed weapons, Wesley Palmer for forgery, William McGalliard for forgery, Dale Farole for parole violation, Albert Pauley and Henry Nagel for parole violation to the boys industrial school.

Funeral services for Cornelius Aylward 74 pioneer resident of Cheyenne county will be held at the Catholic church at 9 30 this morning. Aylward died of a heart attack and partial paralysis last Thursday in the post office basement. He homesteaded south of Sidney over 50 years ago and lived nearby since.
