Mrs. Julia Shelton Bell an early Sidney resident died July 12 at Fayette Alabama according to word received by Mrs. W J Shoemaker. She moved to Sidney in 1879 with her husband Dr Frank Shelton to improve his health and helped organize the Methodist Episcopal church here. Dr Shelton died in 1889 after returning to Fayette.
