Miss Dolores Hopewood won the Fox Theatre popularity event after six finalists, edging Miss Florence Seimers by audience applause measured by a meter. First Visit In 40 Years For Old Time Printer

Once a mechanical worker on the Peoples Poniard a rival to the Telegraph he recalled running for county superintendent and losing. Car Pilferers Are Committed Friday
Three persons charged with stealing from parked cars in Potter were arraigned in Cheyenne county. James Vines and Edward Vines pleaded guilty before District Judge J. L. Tewell. James received a reform school sentence while Edward drew one year in the state penitentiary. Pansy Vines was not sentenced and fled town after a brief hearing. The group, arrested in Kimball at county request, allegedly sold field glasses, garden hose, a tool kit and other items recovered from Potter cars. Owners recovered some payments from the Kimball men.

Sidney Man Jailed On Count Involving Six-Year Old Girl
Sidney, Neb. police hold Jack Marshall, a cafe dishwasher, on a rape charge after a six year old girl reported the incident. Sheriff Schulz said the girl and sister gave identical accounts with the mother present, leading to Marshall’s arrest. County Attorney Heaton filed the complaint, Marshall denied the charges, and further questioning was planned. Authorities asked that the girl’s name be withheld.
