Aged Potter Resident Dies Rites Tomorrow
Mrs. Christina Hansen 81 died Saturday at her Potter home after long illness. Funeral services are set for Wednesday 2 PM at the Potter Methodist church with Rev. Tanner officiating. Interment will be in Dannebrog Nebraska. She lived in Potter 26 years and is survived by daughters Mrs. Peter Hansen of Potter and Mrs. Nora Jason of Hollywood California. Rice Funeral Home in charge.

Negro Runaways Found And Sent Home In One Day
Two Cheyenne girls Cordelia Reed 16 and Loraine Stemmis 14 ran away and were located by State Patrolman J M Peirano at a Potter home. Citizens had seen two young Negro girls hitchhiking east through Kimball. They were placed in Potter custody until their mother arrived to take them back to Cheyenne.

County awards insurance for trucks and county vehicles
The board of commissioners awarded yearlong insurance contracts for county trucks and automobiles and approved a building premium to W. P. Ackerman lowering the previous $68,000 to $48,000 with contents coverage at $8,000. Ackerman also won the car and truck contract. He plans a funeral home on the first floor with living space on the second and a display room in the basement. Contractors remodel interior and install an automatic heating system. A three car garage will be added, and another large storage garage will be built. Move-in is expected in about thirty days. The HOLC foreclosed and the Miles home has long been a western Nebraska showpiece.

Break-Ins Confessed In Eight Towns By Two Carpenters
Charles Spriggs and Charles McGraw pleaded guilty to burglaries in eight towns from Lexington to Torrington Wyoming. They confessed stealing carpenter tools from garages and sheds, carrying large sacks with loot, and were sentenced to three years each after confessions in Keith and district courts.
