The city of Sidney employs 11 men on a WPA water extension project started ten days ago. Ditches are dug by hand along Hickory street to connect two wells, one north and one west. Turkeys were loaded out again by the North Platte Valley Poultry Marketing association in Sidney Thursday. Other loadings occurred at Scottsbluff, Kimball, Torrington, Lusk and Bridgeport. In Sidney 480 turkeys grossing about 6000 pounds were shipped. Guaranteed prices ranged from 23 cents for prime young birds to 15 cents for commercial. Growers also receive market proceeds minus packing and shipping costs.

Farm Family Almost Victims Gas Fumes
