Cheyenne and Devel Counties turkey growers plan the season’s last cooperative shipment of dressed birds from Sidney on Tuesday January 8. Turkeys arrive at Farmers Now Stock warehouse between 8 30 A M and 5 P M and will be graded to Government standards before shipping to eastern markets. Over a carload has already left Sidney for Thanksgiving and Christmas markets. Recent reports show Western Nebraska coop growers marketed 81 percent prime birds in November, up from the 61 percent average.
