Observance of July Fourth Championed by American Legion

Religious Drama The Rock Comes to City Auditorium
The Wesleyan guild of Lexington Methodist church will stage The Rock in three acts at the city auditorium on Wednesday evening. A cast of 16 travels from Sidney for the production with much of the scenery shipped in. Wilma Farrar directs the play, authored by Rev L H Kaub, former Sidney pastor now in Lexington. No admission, but a silver offering will help defray costs. The Rock traces the character development of the Disciple Simon Peter and is praised as a fine religious piece.
