The Stoneham Potash company announces reclamation work to begin immediately near Stoneham Flats 25 miles southeast of Kimball Colorado. Luke Smith Construction of Denver gets the contract to remove 10 000 yards of Fuller’s earth for cleaning oils and gasolines. Salesman Clifford Crosby Dies After Sudden Stroke
Clifford Crosby, district representative for Commercial Credit of Chicago, died Sunday morning in his Omar court apartment after a sharp eye pain and rapid collapse. A cerebral hemorrhage was reported. burial plans moved to Madelia Minnesota with his wife and daughter joining the trip. Neighbors aided Mrs. Crosby as the body was taken to Gehrig funeral home.

Smith-Hughes Pupils Shine at Annual Contests
Smith-Hughes students from 14 Nebraskan high schools competed at the North Platte experiment station contests. Sidney’s poultry judging team won first place earning a silver pitcher trophy and blue ribbon. The group collected seven ribbons overall, marking one of Sidney’s best showings.
