Three men passed forged checks in Gurley and Dalton last week, totaling 45.65. A $33.65 check using W. C. Girl Hurt in Hit-and-Run at City Intersection
A hit-and-run driver struck a small girl at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Illinois Street on Saturday afternoon. The driver fled and bystanders could not confirm awareness of the collision. The girl’s identity was not learned and hospital records show she did not receive treatment, indicating minor injuries.

Sidney vocational agriculture students dominated the North Platte judging meet. A man posing as a federal officer named J. R. Green was arrested last week in Kimball for impersonating an officer. The real Agent Green from Kansas City investigated and found no harm done, and the suspect was released. Over Million Trees In Shipment To Farmers
