Mrs. James O Kane 81 longtime Sidney resident died after a five day illness bronchial pneumonia. She came to Sidney in 1876 and was among the citys earliest pioneers. Survived by two daughters a son and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church with burial in the Catholic cemetery east of town.
