Windmill accident claims life near Endicott
John Wilson of Steele City died Thursday after a 43 foot windmill tower collapsed while he and a coworker updated the mechanism at Phillip Jawson’s farm near Endicott. A bolt reportedly broke or slipped causing the engine to topple and sweep Wilson from the tower. The body was taken to Richardson's funeral parlors in Fairbury for arrangements.

Presbyterian Church Mothers Day Celebration Sparkles
Last Sunday at the Presbyterian Church joy filled the service despite muddy roads. The Ladies Aid redecorated the church and the choir offered a memorable anthem.
