Hastings College to Host Hospitality Day for Seniors
Margaret Gretzinger, Hastings College freshman and daughter of A. H. Gretzinger, will serve on the buffet supper committee for Hospitality Day May 13 on campus. Activities include a college luncheon, open house at museum laboratories dormitories, a track meet, and a garden buffet supper with a male quartet led program. Between 200 and 300 invitations have been sent to neighboring towns.

Mrs Evans of Salt Lake City Dies. Funeral Held
Mrs. John Evans of Salt Lake City died Friday April 29. Funeral services were conducted at the M E church and burial followed in Salt Lake cemetery. Survived by husband Dr Evans and two daughters Kath leen and Marjorie. Dr Evans nephew of Mrs C Kiskall is noted locally.

John Derrick Sr. Dies at 76 at Hollenberg Farm
Funeral services for John Derrick Sr. are set for Friday at 2 30 pm in the M E church at Hollenberg with Rev J E Filinger officiating. He died Tuesday May 10 at 7 pm aged 76 years 8 months and 18 days. A long time resident of the Hollenberg area he spent most of life on his farm east of town and has lived in the community since age four aside from a brief stay in Oklahoma. He has been living with Lyle Derrick for the past year.
