Funeral Services Held Thursday for C J Clark
Funeral services were held at First Presbyterian church in Steele City for C L Clark a pioneer merchant who died after a long career in Tobias and Steele City. Interment followed in Fairbury cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ida M Clark, two sons Francis W and Fay D Clark, a brother Richard Clark and a sister Margaret McNish.

Mrs Lend Dill of New Zealand plans a Steele City return after seventeen years away. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Wilco of Steele City and sailed from New Zealand on April 28. Her exact arrival date is uncertain as she intends to visit her brother in Ridgefield Washington before coming to the City.
