Religious Education Sunday and youth rally at Presbyterian Church
The Presbyterian Church designates next Sunday as Religious Education Sunday with a youth rally for Deshler Hubbel Hebron Alexandria and Fairbury. Registration at 3 30 p m includes a program of devotion addresses and discussions followed by a camp fire picnic. About a hundred visitors expected. The Men's Fellowship Club held its final meeting of the season with officers elected and a feast. A Father and Son banquet is planned for next Tuesday evening May 5. The Ladies Aid to meet next week and the Board of Trustees will convene Wednesday evening at the bank. Our Every Member canvass continues with rain delaying some teams. The morning service featured the theme Faith and stewardship with a message to give service and substance to God. The young people led by Ruth Gretzinger met in the evening. Also note sale of a good two wheel trailer and players Hi P Tripp visiting from Salina Kansas.
