Girls Guild elects new officers at Ellison meeting
Mrs Harley Thrapp was elected president of the Girls Guild for the coming year at a meeting held at the Miss Osina and Wilma Ellison last Thursday evening. Other officers chosen were Miss Susan Taylor vice president and Miss Helen secretary treasurer. Eighteen members were present.

Obituary of Mrs Emil Tarnow Tomka Marguerette Senior
Mrs Emil Tarnow Tomka Marguerette Senior born in Germany February 26 1856 died March 13 1934 at age 78. She came to Plattsmouth Nebraska as a child and was twice married, first to Bilert O Franzen and later to Emil A Tarnow. She leaves a large family including several children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were at the Presbyterian church with Rev J B Filinger officiating and interment in the Diller cemetery.

Mrs. Tarnow Dies After Long Illness in Steele City
Mrs. E Tarnow aged 78 years 18 days died Tuesday morning at 6:00 o clock at her Steele City home after a long illness. Though advanced in years she remained active and valued her independence. A hip fracture in a prior fall impaired her abilities and recent physical troubles led to her death. She had long resided in Steele City and was well regarded.
