Obituary of Huldah P. Beer of Fairbury Nebraska
Huldah Pettit Beer born Christmas day 1855 in Calhoun County Virginia died February 27 after years of illness at age 76 years 2 months. She taught in Virginia then moved to Colorado and Nebraska, married E. Bee in 1888 and had four children Homer Stinnett and three others. Survived by husband, two daughters Grace Blakesley and Mary Butterbaugh, two grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. Funeral held February 27 at 2 pm in Fairbury with multiple ministers. Interment in Fairbury cemetery. Also legal notice on dog tax due since 1933 for Steele City residents.

Miraculous Escape Near Endicott and Odell Ambulance Run
Dr J N Morgan dozed in his car behind an ambulance carrying Mrs Falkner to Odell hospital. He drifted off, crossed a hedge, plunged into a corn field, then fled back onto the road and arrived in Oden as the ambulance continued. He escaped serious injury.
