Agricultural Agent W C Andreas notes farmers in Jefferson County can gain returns from small rain seed this spring despite cash reluctance. Meanwhile Mr and Mrs Kendall head to San Diego and San Antonio while awaiting travel updates from relatives and friends.

Mary Rucker and Wilford Kohorse were married February 28 at a church ceremony and a wedding breakfast followed at the bride’s home. The Kohores are relatives of H Rucker formerly of Steele City now in Marysville Kansas. Elizabeth Rucker accompanied them home and to Omaha. Alice Earhart and Lewis Whittaker were married in Washington February 10. The couple, Belvidere High School graduates, have many friends who wish them a long and happy life together.
