The P T A Rocky Mollow items note a January 30 meeting in which School District No. 1 patrons will hear a debate on drastic local school changes headlined by the topic Four Six or Eight Teacher School. The program includes songs, viewpoints from parents teachers and the school board, and a round table discussion.
Seven judges at Vaughn's Store Endicott awarded Hari Fisher first place in a fiddling contest over eight competitors and a sugar prize of twenty pounds. Fisher, after injuring his left fourth finger two hours earlier, played four selections within the required time and overcame the handicap to win.
Louis Bugbee visited Fairbury on business Monday while others report visits and family news across Odell Amarylis Fairbury and Lincoln. Notable items include Mrs H F Staley business visit to Fairbury, Emmie Kenning shipping cattle to Kansas City, and births, birthdays, and family gatherings shared by the Andrews, Wilcox, Kenning and Gehrt families.

R. W. Johnson of Lincoln has been awarded a new automobile in a local recognition program. Johnson served in the Army Medical Corps during the war and is married with three children.
