Christmas Day Store Closures and Lincoln Publisher Dies

Clarks Store and T W Zoel lin and Company will close after 10 00 oclock on December 25 Christmas day. FL Kautzman former Endicot t publisher died Tuesday afternoon at his Lincoln home at 78 years. He lived in Lincoln for thirty years and ran a small home shop for nine years after retirement from publishing. A relative of Mrs Arner attended the funeral in Lincoln.

Nettie Godden Leads Christmas Program At District 23 School

School District 23 invites the community to a Friday December 18 program at 1 30 o clock. Students created Christmas gifts for mothers including oilcloth pillows and plaques. Those earning 100 percent were Clara Pelser and Leland Coons in History and Luella Frase in Geography. Honor roll members were Clara Pelser Luella Frase and Wilber Wasser man. The Frase children donated the Christmas tree and a makeup day was held Saturday. Howard Haddix and wife of Fairbury visited Wednesday evening.
