The Farmers Union shipped two carloads of hogs to the St Joseph market on Monday and a Sunday shipment from C. C. Andrews went to the Surfie market. John Byron sent two carloads to Kunond City. Carl Schultz and family moved into the former Crinklaw residence as Crinklaw moved to the Gumner property with his family.

The formally dedicated Nebraska state fair grandstand drew many citizens to view the new structure two evenings before opening. Governor Arthur J. Weaver delivered the dedication address as onlookers praised the vast size and complete design. The brick steel and concrete facility features an arcade below the seats with exhibit spaces and a Chinese garden decorated corridor. The quarter of a million dollar building is built to stay and serve the public.
