Bertha Garber takes a week off from duties at the local telephone office as Euniece and Gayle oversee operations during her absence. Relatives in Daykin were visited last Saturday. Guests from Idaho including George Van De Stege and family, Florence May and Jack, and Amy Numbers have been in the W C Palmer home for six weeks and departed for Idaho Monday.

Hutchison Hutchinson Dies At Farm Near Odell
Mr. Hutchinson father of Mrs. Howard Drake of Steele City, died Monday evening August 14 at 6 o'clock at his Odell area farm. Funeral services were held in Beatrice Thursday at 2:30 p.m. He is survived by his widow, an invalid daughter at home, and Mrs. Drake. Elmer Kersting works at Wilson garage preparing to move his produce and cream station into the office area and to operate the filling station and garage.
