Foreclosure sale advertised for Goldsboro Cotton Mills property and plant including machinery. Receiver F A Daniels of Seymour Indiana notes the mill has operated for months and is in recovery. sale to include real estate and all equipment. Public notice calling potential buyers to bid on the operation and assets.
A 1886 notice promotes high quality racing stock including a 10 hands rum horse and a bay gelding with 15% trot time marks, along with Primus the mare. It lists James McKee and Ed Lee as contacts and mentions tobacco land offerings and a third annual stallion and saddle horse sale at View Farm in Raleigh with forty head of standard bred stock and terms ending October 20th.
