Director Burnham says roads will be asphalted within a week. Attendance yesterday reached about three hundred thousand. The President Returns to Washington. Waseisatos May 2 The presidential special arrived at Pennsylvania Station at 5 55 pm with Mr Cleveland and cabinet. Secretaries Carlisle Gresham Smith Herbert Norton Lamont Bissell and Olney not present. Mrs Carlisle and Miss Herbert accompanied them. Gresham noted the journey home was uneventful and the party pleased with the trip.
