Edward Spohn and Mary Seigg were killed in Beno Indiana when a brick wall 22 feet high at the Birdsell Manufacturing Company grounds collapsed on them while they walked. Seigg was instantly killed and Spohn died shortly after being rescued from the debris.

Obituary notes the death of Charles A McNeill on January 4 in Carthage Moore County. A lawyer known statewide, he suffered an ankle injury weeks earlier then died of illness. He was born in Carthage last April and was about sixty. His cheerful temperament and many virtues are praised by friends and kin. His loss leaves a vacancy in the community and within his home.

A deadly fire gutted the Hotel Godfrey in Greenville yesterday. Barny Foster, a Roanoke Virginia painter, was burned to death before escaping. The incident occurred in Vena Morgistown Tennessee with local authorities investigating the blaze.
