Three witnesses said they had a last beer between 5 and 5:15 a.m. that day. The coroner's inquest heard owners denied serving after hours. deputies said taverns are hard to police due to manpower. The jury urged investigation and state Liquor Commission records were noted. The article also criticizes county clerk Hartley over finances and calls for defeat at the polls.
