The drive aims for a fair share contribution from every contacted person to fund 18 agencies, with a yardstick of 25 cents weekly or 1 5 percent of income above certain brackets. Trainmen Convene on New Rules in Chicago Meeting
The Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen opened a three day session at the Pick Congress hotel in Chicago to decide on work rule changes. About 160 trainmen representing 200000 employees from all railroads attended the opening as President W P Kennedy said announcements are unlikely until coordinated with four other operating brotherhoods.
