May Queen Ruth Bruhn Of Carroll College Set For 1983

Miss Ruth Bruhn, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Carl F. Bruhn of Chippewa Falls, will be crowned 1983 May Queen at Carroll College in Waukesha during commencement exercises. A four year student, she participated in W A A, Carton Players, Y W C A, Y W Cabinet, glee club, Echo staff, and belongs to Beta Chi Theta, Beta Beta Beta, and Kappa Sigma Delta. She is noted as an avid sportswoman who recently took up flying.

School Vacation Starts Today for Local Students

The public grade school system and parochial schools end the term today with dismissal until September 5. De La Salle high school closes June 12 with 65 seniors earning diplomas. Township high and junior college finish exams next Wednesday through Friday, with Baccalaureate on June 4 and commencement June 8 by Rev. Charles Gilkie.
