The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will present A Spanish Fiesta in the high school auditorium next Tuesday night. The eleven part play aims to replace a Poppy Day tag day. An 11 part cast will perform after the high school orchestra provides selections. Tickets are 25 cents at Stillman’s or from members.
Ben Bernie and his nationally known recording orchestra appear in person at Electric Park Plainfield on Monday night May 22. The group includes Pat Kennedy Frank Prince Micky and Dick Stabile, with Bernie using an amplifying system to enhance his remarks for the crowd.
