Wounded soldiers come home for rest
Two Joliet youths with combat wounds return to civilian life on a 30 day furlough. Pvt. Ludwig Zbacnik and Pfc. Edward Kocjan, both amputees, recount their Aleutian and New Guinea service, training in Bushnell Utah, and the shock of war as they adjust to home life with families, medals, and renewed health.
