A fundraising summer dance will be held July 7 at Inwood Country Club to support local golfers aiming to compete in the Western Junior amateur at St. Louis. Aviation enthusiasts can travel to the Air Races on July 1 4 with reduced transport. W H Heun general manager of the C and J Electric Railway announced round trip tickets at 75 cents. Passengers ride the C and J cars to Argo then transfer to surface line cars to the airport. The last Joliet car departs Argo at 12 15 A M daily and Sunday.
