They're Oft sixty-two seeking nomination for city jobs

Sixty two candidates enter a crowded city race with nine for mayor and 51 for commissioner plus two for police magistrate. Spectator Golden Gloves Opens With Joliet Boxers

One hundred boxers from Joliet and nearby cities compete in the fourth annual Spectator Chicago Tribune Golden Gloves at Catholic High gym starting Monday night. The event aims to form a strong Joliet team for the Chicago Stadium finals with 15 local Y boxers and entrants from Aurora Elgin Chicago Heights Kankakee Lockport Rockdale Morris Lemont and CCC camps.
