Hold Last Rites for Fred Egger Veteran Coal Man
Funeral services were held for Fred W. Egger a Joliet coal dealer of 40 years at Sonn tag funeral home with Rev J W Lowery officiating. Mount Joliet Masonic lodge led the service and honorary pallbearers included O R Laraway and others. Survived by widow Mary E son Alva W grandson Charles J and siblings Elizabeth Josephine Sophia Emily and Johanna. Born Centra lia Illinois he led the American Coal Co for 39 years and lived at 401 Collins Street.
