Traditional Advent Wreath Lighting At Ziegner Home
The Helmut E. Ziegner family at 667 Meeker Avenue observes the German Advent wreath custom. Each of the four Advent Sundays a candle is lit. Barbara lights the first, Petra and Raymond watch as fir branches red ribbons and four candles form the wreath. The family immigrated from Germany to Joliet four years ago.
