Consul General Mason Visits Lewis College Lecture

Col. Paul English hosts Robert Whyte Mason British consul general of Chicago at Lewis College. Mason delivered a lecture yesterday morning with Dr. John Kamerick Dean Dr. Jorge A. De Soto head of modern language and Col. John N. Gage of Chicago among the attendees.

Polio Drive Opens With National Foundation Official Remarks

Dr. Theodore Boyd of New York center assistant director of research for the National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis led remarks at an initial gifts committee meeting at the Woodruff hotel. Present were George F. Bartling Harold Bosecker Herman Schroeder and John H. Schwab as co chairs with Bartling. Will County’s 1956 fundraising goal is $40 000.
