Leslie Emmett Alldredge and Miss Carrie Turner of Springer were married by Rev. Clyde Keegan Sunday at 3 PM at the couple's future home 115 South Fourth Street. Turner’s father Mr Turner and Mrs. Guy Griffin attended along with Miss Gertrude Henning. Alldredge works at the Santa Fe dispatcher’s office and the newlyweds receive best wishes from friends.
Fred Flubman faced a snowbound week delaying his return home from linatar. Washington Birthday was celebrated at Roy Buble School with a varied program by students and teachers. Mrs Theo Bauler underwent surgery at Plumlee Hospital and is recovering. Ben Brown returned from a long visit in Kansas and Nebraska, delayed by a large storm and a land deal.
The 1.0.0. F. lodge initiated two candidates in the classic form on Wednesday evening. A feed of sandwiches and coffee followed, with a large attendance and good time encouraging the workers to believe it will be repeated in the future.
A party at Mr and Mrs G R Abernathy hosted in honor of their son Sergeant Whlis Abernathy recently returned from two years in the U S Coast Artillery drew a large crowd of young people. Music games and piano ukulele offerings delighted guests as Sergeant Abernathy escorted Miss Etta Hornbaker and refreshments were served late.

T B Mitchell has been at Santa Fe recently discussing livestock legislation before the legislature. He arrived from the Albert Ranch Tuesday and then took the train for the capital.
Glenn Anderson signs as clerk at Fairview Pharmacy and plans farm work with his father this spring. Mrs. Gertrude Hedgecock becomes the new clerk. Dr. Gibbs and Mrs. J. While, both noted, and a sale at a nearby farm near Solano is planned for March 12 featuring milk cows.
