Registration Day Parade Sets Roy Parade Worded Event
Windy registration day in Roy drew almost the entire populace. A parade led by the Roy Band moved from the Registration Board to I O O F hall for a 10 AM program. Over 200 marched with Boy Scouts Campfire Girls Red Cross and citizens. Mayor Roy opened the program and Rev Hearn presided. Rev Hearn gave an impassioned address. Bob Aldsedge spoke on Liberty Loan duties and bond buying. Red Cross leadership led by Mrs Rev Russell urged community enrollment as boys fight in France. Clarence Leffler returns from Supulpe Ohio to homestead near Bill Guthman. Mrs Leffler visiting eastern states. Johnny Gallagher and wife welcome a boy.
