County Commissioners canvass county election results
The November 10 session of the county board, with John Greenwald as chairman, examined returns from the November 4 election. Due to injunctions over Independent Republican ballots, certificates were copied and attached. The board confirmed 95 votes in precinct No 7 and declared all candidates elected. They issued election certificates, appointed deputy clerks, and authorized payments for copies and watchman duties. The meeting adjourned to January or when called.

International Stock Show Opens in Chicago November 29
The International Live Stock Show in Chicago runs November 29 to December 5 and is hailed as the greatest show yet. Efforts are underway to handle a record number of entries as stockmen are offered a Burlington Route special fare of one fare plus 82 for round trips. Tickets go on sale November 30 to December 2 with a final departure limit December 8.
