Public notice of proof for beneficial use of water from two springs in Spring Gulch, Custer county Idaho. An administrator under the Idaho Probate Court will privately sell mining property from the Ingvart Christensen estate. The Silver Rick mine and Greenland lode in Bayhorse District, plus mining tools, are offered with 10 percent due at sale and balance after court confirmation. Sale starts after October 10, 1007, with first publication September 24, 1007.
In the Probate Court of Custer County Idaho the administrator of the estate of Thomas Kehoe deceased invites all creditors and claimants to present their claims with vouchers within four months after first publication. Claims must be shown to Clark Redford at the State Bank of Mackay Mackay Idaho. Publication dated September 7 1907.

A New York Salt Lake tourist party visits Senator Macbeth s home while local business, schools, and a proposed Bell line between Challis and Loon Creek progress amid bids for poles and a quiet title case in court.
Notice is given that Grant Silvey of Patterson Idaho intends to prove desert land claim No 1 in Custer County Idaho before U S Commissioner Lt Johnston at Challis Idaho on December 1 167. Last week in Challis Attorneys Cowen of Salmon and Holden of Idaho Falls bought for 6000 dollars a one half interest from Edwin Williams estate in the Parker mine on Parker Mountain. The other half is owned by Judge Stevens and Attorney Adamson, making the mine fully owned by lawyers. The Parker Mine yields an eight foot ore ledge averaging 55 dollars per ton and high grade ore valued at over 1000 dollars per ton. The mine has been worked all summer with a small crew and shipments have been satisfactory.
The Schuyler Colfax anniversary honoring the founder was observed in Challis by Silver Leaf Rebekah Lodge No. 27 I O O F on Friday evening September 20 with a fitting program including Mrs Sweet Prof Webber and Mrs Brasseur. An excellent banquet followed in the banquet room with eighty attendees.
A fragmenting call urges townspeople to boost energy, morality, churches, harmony, and cordial advertising. It exhorts residents to speak well of the community, advertise in papers, elect honest men, promote welfare, and fire croakers to improve the town and its people.
Last Thursday news arrived that all White Knob or Empire Co mines near Mackay have shut, cutting about 250 workers from payroll while 15 to 20 remain for development. The Empire smelter had closed two weeks earlier, and the stoppage is blamed on low copper prices.
