A heated exchange surrounds Bird Trego and the Fool-Killer as rival papers clash over coverage and editorial stances. The Mackay Telegraph is accused of cowardice and manipulated circulation while the Messenger defends its stance and mocks its rival with sharp verse.
District Court docket of Custer county for the August term of 1903. Court convened Monday Aug 24 1908 at 10 o clock a m. Presiding judge Jas M Stevens with court staff and bar members from Boise Mackay Challis Hailey and Blackfoot.
Trial commenced Friday Aug 28 with cases including Budd and Ireland criminal matter and multiple quiet title actions. Numerous divorces granted or dismissed. other debt and demurrer actions continued or dismissed. appeals and intervenors noted.
