Obituary: Hon. Matthew G. Luney of Denver Dies at 84

In Denver at noon on Saturday October 14 1899 Hon Matthew G Luney aged 84 died after a possible cancer related operation. A pioneer who arrived in Centerville in 1854 later moved to Pioneer then Shasta County California before settling in Denver. He built the Lana House in 1867 and served in Idaho legislature. he is survived by Mary Galbreith and many old friends. The funeral was to be held today.
