The Salmon Recorder reports Dr Harris and staff from the Medical Institution in Liverpool and Crawfordsville branch in Portland lectured to a large audience. They claimed cures for paralysis, rheumatism, deafness, bladder and kidney issues, and many chronic diseases with demonstrations, inviting those hard of hearing and cripples to test the methods. The event drew ministers and physicians, with promises of cures across a wide range of ailments from 9 am to 9 pm including Sunday.

Wilson Ellis aged 75 died at the Wood Live Stock ranch in the residence of his daughter Mrs. Chas Matley on Friday October 11 1907 at 7 50 p m He was an early pioneer who crossed the plains in 1862 born in Bourne England August 12 1832 and came to Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1856 before heading west His journey included Auburn Centerville Boise Basin Rocky Bar Boise City Salmon City Pahsamurai valley and Challis He leaves three daughters Mrs Emily Snook of Salmon Mrs Jas Shoup of Alaska and Mrs Chas Matley plus son Geo A Ellis Funeral was held at May Idaho on Sunday October 18 largely attended.
