Struck the Lode at Silver Bell Tunnel in Idaho
A letter dated October 1 from Dave Farmer, general manager of Buros Mining & Milling Co., reports a ledge cut in the Silver Bell cross-cut tunnel with a four inch galena ore vein. The ore was sent to Boise for assay. the mine previously won first prize for silver lead ore at the Custer County exhibit in the State Fair. Prospectors head to winter quarters as Hasbrouck Burns Co. work quartz claims at Josephus Lake. Jim Hill plans winter supplies for Sheep Mountain mines. Greyhound Co. employs seven men this winter.
