Custer County Board Passes Toll Road and District Actions
The county board convened in regular session approving liquor dealer bonds for Challis and Lake Hotel, forming School District No. 8 from part of No. 4, and transferring students from No. 10 to No. 7. It authorized the Greyhound Toll Road Company to build a road from Wagontown to the vicinity of Vanity, Float, and Sulphur creeks with detailed measurements, costs, and tolls, appointing road commissioners. Adjournments, bids for newspaper printing, and bids for indigent care were set, with road and bridge repairs assigned and numerous county accounts approved for current and road funds.
