The New Challis House is a First-Class hotel offering strict accommodations. Meals and lodging are described as unsurpassed in the county with reasonable rates. Tables filled with market‑supplied fare. Suitable for traveling men and the public. Good sample rooms for commercial men. Idaho.
Lodging by the day week or month at Mrs M Jose s Hotel located just north west of R N Hull Co s Challis Idaho. Large rooms and good beds. Rates reasonable.
Returns from Custer county show a Democratic landslide, surprising all. The writer laments a personal defeat by fellow Democrats while praising voters from Democrats, Republicans, and Socialists who supported them, and asserts loyalty to the party despite being stabbed by its own.
Incomplete results indicate the Republican ticket won by about 5000 votes except in Gooding where the margin is smaller. Republicans also claim a majority in the next legislature. Judge Stevens reportedly elected district judge by several thousand. In Fremont county many Gentiles were jailed.

Proof will be made December 27 1906 before U S Commissioner L H Johnston. Witnesses Roscoe Hamilton Simon P Jones Benjamin Horreson Joseph Wadler all of Elis Idaho.
