Princeton N J Oct 29 Grover Cleveland former president in an interview with the Philadelphia Times said a landslide for Bryan is certain. He avoided commenting on McKinley’s chances and warned Republicans not to misread public sentiment.

Telephone Line To Custer County Extends From Boise

D 8 Murray of Salt Lake a superintendent of Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone comes to Boise to begin linking Idaho's capital with eastern points by phone. Work starts at once on the eastern extension and material is on hand to build to Mountain Home and beyond before severe weather. The line will not follow the Short Line with two dies from the main line skirting the Wood River country toward Blackfoot or Pocatello. One branch reaches Mountain Home. the other goes into Custer county to serve mining camps.
