Sheriff Hughes of Salmon reports G W Walsen captured after alleged embezzlement of 6000 dollars from Lemhi county treasury. A special grand jury is convened, with trial anticipated Monday. Evidence cited includes Walsen’s disappearance, alleged large sums, and a rumor of 34 one hundred dollar bills counted in presence of a witness.
Closing exercises of Challis Public School are outlined with a long program at the Masonic hall including songs, solos, and orchestra selections.
